2010 Track Day Schedule

2010 Track Day Schedule

We've locked into the dates for the Fox Motorsports 2010 track days at Grattan Raceway in Belding, Michigan. All of last year’s events were well attended with a diverse group of cars showing up for each (check out our photo page of events here ). Track time and driver education are the two key aspects we focus on at our events so come hungry for the track as well as a catered lunch, snacks, and beverages provided by Fox Motorsports. Space is limited, please contact us for more information.

Let Fox Motorsports Market and Sell Your Car

Let Fox Motorsports Market and Sell Your Car

Fox Motorsports can help you market and sell your car as well as assist in the transfer of ownership to the buyer. We handle this by professionally photographing your car in-house, researching the history of the car, gathering up-to-date values, writing a thorough listing, and marketing your automobile. We choose from a vast assortment of domestic and international marketing channels depending on what type of vehicle we’re selling. We keep the client informed with regular status updates. All transactions are completely transparent, allowing our clients to know the exact selling price of their car (as opposed to the way that many others do business…agreeing on a minimum sale price with the client and pocketing any amount that the salesman can get above that number. In those cases, the client never really knows the actual selling price of their car). After a deal is struck, we handle all the arrangements for putting the car in the buyer’s hands, including exporting to another country if it’s one of our many international deals. If you have a car that needs some special attention and you’d like professional help with the sale, please contact us for more information. New Tools for the Shop

New Tools for the Shop

As sports and collector cars spend the tail end of a long winter in storage, the lights are on and many things are happening in the service/restoration department at Fox Motorsports. The launch of a new project—a 1974 Pontiac Trans Am restomod running a 700+ hp GM LS9 supercharged V-8—necessitated the addition of some pretty cool ‘toys’ for the shop. One unique new tool is a Wheeling Machine (commonly referred to as an “English Wheel”) from Imperial Wheeling Machines. This type of machine has been used for centuries to shape flat sheet metal into compound curves by stretching it under pressure. It allows Fox Motorsports to reproduce body panels like hoods, doors, and fenders as well as just about anything else we need to complete a project. A new Miller plasma cutter is another welcome addition. Rather than resort to the tedious task of sawing or grinding to cut metal, a plasma cutter reduces the job to seconds and adds a new dimension of precision. A new Miller TIG welder adds to our welding capabilities (which include a MIG, Spot, and Oxygen-Acetylene). These new additions not only add capability but also improve productivity by moving previously outsourced jobs in-house, ensuring that tough, time consuming projects are completed quickly and easily with a higher margin of safety, accuracy, and quality.

2010 Porsche 911 Turbo PDK.  Car and Driver lists 0-60 mph in an astonishing 2.9 seconds and 0-100 mph in just 6.5 seconds. We've recently added one to our stable. We can order one for you.

This winter saw the start of a new project. What began as a stock 1974 Trans Am will be anything but when Fox Motorsports is finished with it. Check here for updates .
