Detailing

Fox Motorsports has been involved in the automotive detailing scene in Grand Rapids for ten years. Up until now, we’ve gone almost unnoticed in this arena as we ply our trade in relative obscurity, putting show quality results on some of the most exotic and classic automobiles in the area. With the recent move to our new facility comes an expansion in space and resources that allows Fox Motorsports to offer our exclusive detailing to the public for the first time. Our specialty covers everything from a light wash and wax to a multi-step process that brings back worn out paint finishes. We even tackle show cars including our own Shelby GT500, which was entered in the prestigious Meadow Brook Concours earlier this month. Additionally, we’re used to fast-food mishaps and spilled coffee with some of the fleet vehicles we handle so don’t think twice about sending over the kid-hauler.

Employee Profile: Kenton Grassmid

Having spent nearly seven years with us, Kenton Grassmid is familiar to all of our key clients and can be found on site handling the ins and outs of the automobiles in our care or traveling to where those automobiles may be. He is directly responsible for the operational execution of many facets of the business. From transporting vehicles that require the utmost care and attention, to managing the collection needs on a daily basis, to running the detail department—a task in and of itself that demands practiced perfection—no one does it with more conviction and passion than Kenton. His input is key when assessing the condition of a new purchase or directing the people under his care to bring a car back to life. He is able and willing to help our team and clients in whatever task or direction he is given.
